UFC 328 took place last week at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., creating movement in pound-for-pound and some divisional rankings.
In the main event, Sean Strickland pulled off another title-winning upset, this time over previously undefeated Khamzat Chimaev. Strickland entered the event at No. 3 in the middleweight rankings, and moves up to the No. 1 spot now that he has the division’s crown. Chimaev falls to No. 2.

In the co-main event, flyweight champion Joshua Van recorded his first title defense by defeating Tatsuro Taira with a fifth-round stoppage. Despite being finished, Taira maintains his No. 5 spot, while Van has nowhere up to go from No. 1.
