Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko wasn’t having any of Jake Paul’s most recent digs at the UFC.
Paul took aim at the UFC when he said it was “dying” under Dana White’s leadership. He was especially critical of dominant grapplers such as Khabib Nurmagomedov and Khamzat Chimaev, whom he called boring.

Paul also questioned the matchmaking for UFC Freedom 250, pointing out that the promotion set up Justin Gaethje to get knocked out on home soil by lightweight champion Ilia Topuria.
Shevchenko fired back at Paul after his recent comments.
“UFC dying ?! Hey Jake, you definitely don’t know what are you talking about. Criticizing MMA from a long distance. Try to get into an octagon with one of them, and they’ll wipe the floor with your pretty face. You will show spectacular, breathtaking fight from down there! Then you can tell us how fun or boring it was!”
Paul has teased an MMA debut on numerous occasions, but it won’t be under the UFC banner. “The Problem Child” is currently targeting Nate Diaz, who meets Mike Perry on Paul’s MVP MMA card headlined by Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano on May 16 in Los Angeles. The event streams live on Netflix.
