Police footage of Dustin Poirier‘s arrest Sunday has surfaced, showing him challenging a police officer to a fight and berating a pair of airline workers.
On Tuesday, the Atlanta Police Department released body cam footage of Poirier’s arrest, which took place at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International. Poirier faces one count of public drunkenness.

“Let’s go big dog,” Poirier said (via TMZ) as the officer entered the gate waiting area after Poirier had allegedly been removed from a flight. “What’s up? Bunch of hoes. Let’s go. Let’s go. Nah, (expletive). Lying (expletive). Yeah, pull me off the plane. All my boys went to the (expletive) crib. Now what the (expletive).”
The police officer recognized Poirier.
“Are you Dustin Poirier?” the officer asked.
Poirier responded by challenging him to a fight.
“Man, (expletive) you, bro,” Poirier said. “Man, (expletive) her and (expletive) her. I’ll fight you right now. I’ll go with you right now. Let’s go. Let’s go. Tell them. Tell them. It’s going to be bad. It’s going to be bad, my (expletive). What’s up? You want to fight. You want to fight?”
A bunch of expletives followed, as the officer eventually removed his taser from his belt, though never had to use it.

When backup arrived, Poirier was placed in handcuffs without further incident and even congratulated the officer with a fist bump.
“You did a great job,” Poirier said. “You did what you could.”
Following news of his arrest, Poirier posted a brief statement Monday on Instagram.
“Love you all,” Poirier wrote. “I’m working on myself.”
Poirier has served as a model citizen in MMA, often praised for his charity work and class inside and outside the cage. He has no other known run-ins with the law.
Poirier has not competed since he retired in July, hanging up the gloves on a career that included 32 UFC appearances, 15 performance bonuses, and an interim lightweight title.
