Video footage emerges of Brad Keselowski going after Carson Hocevar after NASCAR qualifying incident

Brad Keselowski confronted Carson Hocevar on pit road after Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series qualifying session at Watkins Glen International. According to a report from TNT Sports, Keselowski was set off by an incident with Hocevar during qualifying.

“On the track, I was just trying to get out of Carson’s way, but then Carson thought I had blocked him,” Keselowski told TNT Sports.

Hocevar then slowed down in front of Keselowski while the veteran driver was doing his qualifying lap, which he didn’t appreciate. As video showed, Keselowski took off sprinting towards Hocevar after returning to pit road. Keselowski delivered a message to Hocevar.

“Well, probably not,” Keselowski said when asked if Hocevar understood his message. “I’m over it. We race today.”

Sunday’s race is now underway, and we’ll see if these two find each other on the road course. If there’s a driver in the field who could use a quiet weekend, it’s Hocevar, who has had multiple run-ins with several drivers this season.

Just this past weekend at Iowa Speedway, Hocevar wrecked Zane Smith on Lap 229. Ryan Bergenty, Smith’s crew chief, confronted Hocevar on pit road after the race. Hocevar seemed unbothered that Smith and his team had a problem with him. Hocevar posted on Instagram after the race, and his song choice for the post was “IDGAF” by Drake, which translates to “I don’t give a f*ck.” The post also included a picture of a ticket counter with the message to “please take a number.”

It looks like Keselowski took a number. We’ll see if this is the incident that catches up to the young wheelman.
