INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Most Valuable Promotions and Netflix continue the push for Saturday’s first MMA venture with the pre-fight press conference Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano on Thursday.
Former UFC champion Rousey (12-2) is set to return to MMA competition for the first time since December 2016 when she takes on fellow women’s MMA trailblazer Carano (7-1) in a five-round women’s featherweight fight at Intuit Dome, with the entire event set to stream on Netflix.

In addition, Nate Diaz takes on Mike Perry in a five-round welterweight bout with high expectations for action, then former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou (18-3) will return to combat sports for the first time since October 2024 when he clashes with 2018 PFL champion Philipe Lins (18-5) in a five-round heavyweight bout.
All 22 athletes from the 11-fight card will be on stage to answer questions at Thursday’s press conference. MVP co-founder Jake Paul and MVP CEO Nakisa Badarian are also expected to be in attendance for the festivities, which are hosted by Ariel Helwani.
The event begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, and MMA Junkie will have a live stream from on location above.
