Kentucky Basketball has reached out to Villanova transfer guard Bryce Lindsay as the Wildcats continue to evaluate options in the transfer portal.
Lindsay, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound guard and Baltimore native, is drawing significant interest across the country. He told LeagueRDY that schools such as Louisville, St. John’s, North Carolina, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Alabama, Providence, Ohio State, Vanderbilt, Texas, UCLA, Miami, Oklahoma State, Georgia, USC, Utah, Baylor, and Kentucky are all involved in his recruitment.

During the 2025-26 season at Villanova, Lindsay averaged 12.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game while starting 31 of 33 games. He shot 38.3% from the field on 10.5 attempts per game and 35.6% from three-point range on 6.6 attempts, showcasing his ability as a perimeter scorer.
Lindsay’s college journey has included multiple stops. He began at Texas A&M, where he redshirted after appearing in eight games, before transferring to James Madison. After a productive season there, he moved to Villanova, where he emerged as a consistent contributor.
With several guards leaving Kentucky, including Jaland Lowe, Jasper Johnson, Denzel Aberdeen, and Collin Chandler, head coach Mark Pope is prioritizing backcourt additions. While Lindsay is a strong option, he would likely be a depth piece if he joins the Wildcats, as Kentucky continues to pursue top targets like BYU transfer Rob Wright and Washington guard Zoom Diallo.
Lindsay will be another name to watch in Kentucky’s ongoing roster rebuild.
