Josh Allen, Woodbridge
The senior had another clutch performance in the Barrons’ 26-23 win over Watching Hills. The senior scored three touchdowns, including the game-winners with 2:48 remaining. In last week’s 14-0 win over Union, Allen score both of Woodbridge’s touchdowns.

John Archer, Bound Brook
The senior did it with his arm and legs in Bound Brook’s 43-28 win over J.P. Steven. Archer was 9-for-15 passing for 132 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 125 yards on 14 carries and another score. He even recovered a fumble and had two tackles on defense.
Isaiah Bennett, Manville
The senior boosted the Mustangs in their big 34-0 win over non-conference Hopatcong. Bennett rushed in two touchdowns and caught a 59-yard scoring pass from Josh D’Ambrosio as Manville improved to 2-0.
Dylan Chiera, Colonia
The senior showed he’s more than one of the area’s top quarterbacks. While he did finish 12-for-20 for 181 passing yards and two touchdowns in Colonia’s 24-21 win over North Hunterdon, Chiera also booted the 28-yard game-winning field goal with 3:30 left.

Dylan Chiera, Colonia
The senior put his named in the storied program’s record books by breaking for a 95-yard touchdown, which was the Stateliners’ longest run ever from scrimmage in their 28-0 win over Westfield. He finished with 219 rushing yards on 18 carries and three touchdowns.
Nick Salas, Roselle Park
Salas and his teammates opened the season with a rousing 45-13 win over Middlesex. The junior ran in two touchdowns, caught a pass for another scored and capped it with an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. He finished with 79 rushing yards on 12 carries and added six tackles on defense.

Devin Thomas, Plainfield
The senior quarterback lifted Plainfield to a 56-5 win over New Brunswick. Thomas finished 7-for-12 passing for 131 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 66 yards on three carries and another score.
Aidan Vesuvio-Bush, Somerville
The senior ran in all three touchdowns, including one on a 43-yard scamper, as Somerville topped Cranford 28-12. He finished with 182 rushing yards on 26 carries, had three catches for 23 yards and added a two-point conversion run.
AJ Whitehead, New Providence
The senior had a huge all-around game in New Providence’s 42-7 rivalry game win over Governor Livingston. He rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns and added scores off a 62-yard interception return and a 60-yard punt return.
