Coach Tina Langley and the Washington Huskies women’s basketball team signed their second transfer addition Saturday from North Carolina State sophomore forward Tilda Trygger.
Trygger, a 6-foot-6 native of Stockholm, Sweden, joins UW legacy and ex-Oklahoma State guard Macey Huard as the second transfer to make her way to Montlake since the portal opened on April 8.

As a sophomore, Trygger started all 30 games for the Wolfpack after earning All-Freshman Team honors from the ACC during her first year in Raleigh, averaging 10.6 points, 7 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 1.2 assists per game while helping guide her team to a 21-11 record in 2025-26.
With the departure of five seniors—guards Hannah Stines, Elle Ladine, and Tegan Brown; forward Shayla Gilmer, and center Yulia Grabovskaia—Langley has a handful of spots to fill ahead of the 2026-27 season after reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season.
Trygger is expected to fill either the four or five spot in the Huskies’ starting lineup this coming season alongside All-Big Ten Freshman Team honoree Brynn McGaughy, with a strong ability to catch-and-shoot and haul down both offensive and defensive rebounds to get a second-chance opportunity.

As a freshman, Trygger came off the bench for the first 11 games of the season before starting the Wolfpack’s final 23 games, finishing with 22 blocks—eighth most in a single season in school history—and 166 rebounds—11th most by a freshman in a single season.
