UConn’s Braylon Mullins permanently etched his name in March Madness history in the Elite Eight on Sunday.

The true freshman hit the game-winning shot as the Huskies pulled off a stunning comeback against the top-seeded Duke Blue Devils to advance to the Final Four. It’s UConn’s eighth trip to the Final Four in program history and its third in the last four years.

The Huskies trailed by as many as 19 points, and they faced a 15-point halftime deficit. However, they battle back in the second half. Duke inbounded the ball up two with 10 seconds to play, and it looked like a potential disaster to UConn as it struggled to get a foul in.

However, guard Cayden Boozer opted to pass rather than hold the ball, and Mullins stole it. He kicked it out to Alex Karaban, who sent it back his way. Mullins pulled up from nearly half-court to sink what would ultimately be a game-winning three-pointer with just 0.4 seconds remaining.
