The pads are popping, and the whistles are blowing over at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center as the Ohio State football team continues going through spring practice. We are getting ready to head into Week 3 of the phase in which the program will put some of the building blocks in place for fall camp and beyond, and we’ve already heard and seen some things that have us turning our heads.
On Tuesday, head coach Ryan Day stepped up to the podium after practice to field questions from reporters and provide some updates on what he’s seen so far in the spring, and we’ve got that entire 28-minute interview for you to take in thanks to the WBNS 10TV YouTube channel.

Day touched on many things, including the pace of play this year, having to assimilate so many new faces, how new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith is fitting in, some of the newcomers that are standing out so far, and a lot more. You can catch all of the insightful and interesting questions and comments below.
As a reminder, Ohio State still has some practices left as we head towards the annual spring game on Saturday, April 8, and as we get more sights and sounds coming out of the Woody, we’ll bring them to you here.
