OK, Ohio State football fans. You can relax this week, maybe get some yard work in, or run some errands if you aren’t attending a wedding or something, because it’s the second open week for the Buckeyes. It’s a week to get rest, evaluate things, and then get prepared to take on Penn State next weekend.
Just because it is an open date this week doesn’t keep head coach Ryan Day from taking care of some of his media opportunities, most specifically his weekly press conference with the local media in Columbus. There’s not an opponent to preview this week, but the media throng that follows the Buckeyes around is almost always interested in the state of the program instead of the upcoming game, anyhow, so Day took some time to field questions and provide updates.

We follow all of the Ohio State head coach’s press conferences and have all of his remarks for you to get caught up on, thanks to the WBNS 10T YouTube channel. During his time behind the podium, Day discussed the development of quarterback Julian Sayin, the great fit that defensive coordinator Matt Patricia has been, utilizing personnel the correct way for a long run to and through the College Football Playoff, and more.
Enjoy the off week, but remember we’ll continue to have coverage to reflect on where things are and line up things going forward, so be sure to check back often.
