The 2026 Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament field has been set.
This marks Year 3 of the WBIT, which replaced the WNIT as the second-tier women’s basketball postseason tournament. The full 32-team field has been revealed, with games starting on Thursday, March 19.

The first four teams left out of the NCAA Tournament earn automatic bids in the WBIT, while also earning the top four seeds.
The semifinals and championship game will be played at Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kansas, on March 30 and April 1, respectively.
