Clemson basketball faces its toughest remaining test in the regular season with Saturday’s trip at SMU.
The Tigers (21-5, 13-2) have not played since last Saturday’s blowout win at Florida State. Clemson should be comfortable favorites in the other four ACC games and can earn a share of the ACC regular season crown and the No. 1 seed by winning out and at least one conference loss by Duke and Louisville.
SMU (20-6, 11-4) is right on the NCAA Tournament bubble but does not have a Quadrant 1 victory yet this season. Saturday’s game is the Mustangs’ final chance to earn the first Q1 win until the ACC Tournament.
