GREENVILLE, S.C. — LSU women’s basketball officially opens its potential run to an SEC Tournament championship Friday, March 6.
LSU coach Kim Mulkey and the No. 4-seed Tigers (26-4) will take on No. 5 Oklahoma (24-6) in the quarterfinals of the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament inside Bon Secours Wellness Arena. The Sooners eliminated No. 12 Florida 82-64 in the second round.

LSU and the Sooners played once this season with LSU winning convincingly, 91-72, on the road in January.

The winner of LSU-Oklahoma will advance to the SEC Tournament semifinals and face the winner of No. 1 South Carolina and No. 9 Kentucky, which plays in the first quarterfinal game Friday.
