Mississippi State basketball continues in the SEC Tournament with Thursday’s second-round game against 7-seed Missouri in Nashville.
The Bulldogs (21-11) beat LSU 91-62 in Wednesday’s first-round game to advance to the next round. Josh Hubbard led all scorers with 26 points.
Missouri (21-10) lost four of five games to end the regular season, falling out of contention for a double-bye in this week’s tournament.
The two teams played on Feb. 1 in Starkville, a 88-61 Tigers victory.
Thursday’s winner will play 2-seed Florida in Friday’s third quarterfinal game.

Mizzou is fifth in the SEC in 3-pointers per game and second in 3-point percentage. MSU struggles to guard the 3 and allowed 15 to Missouri last time. Watch out for Caleb Grill, who nailed six 3-pointers against Mississippi State.
