The Cardinal (11-9, 3-6) are coming off a 58-46 victory over Pittsburgh on Jan. 30. They are led by Nunu Agara with a 17.4 points average to go with 8.1 rebounds. She also has 17 blocks. Elena Bosgana averages 12.1 points and Brooke Demetre averages 10 points with with 24 blocks.
No. 3 Notre Dame (19-2, 10-0) returns home for the first time since Jan. 19 and is coming off an 89-71 victory at Louisville.
Sophomore guard Hannah Hidalgo (26.1 ppg) had a season-high 34 points against the Cardinals and scored 30 against Virginia Tech on Jan. 30, earning her U.S. Basketball Writers Association player of the week honors for the third time this season. She was also named the ACC Player of the Week for the fourth time and was named to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Top 10. The honor is given to the nation’s top shooting guard.
Hidaldo and backcourt mate Olivia Miles (16.4 ppg) were named to the National Player of the Year Midseason top 50.
