The most anticipated four-day stretch in college athletics is finally here, with the 2025 NCAA Tournament getting underway on Thursday morning. For the Oregon Ducks, it is a long wait for their first-round game against the Liberty Flames to tip-off, seeing as they will play in the final game of the first round on Friday night.

It should be a fun game for Duck fans, many of whom will be traveling up to Seattle for the game to root on their team. The matchup on the floor will be entertaining as well, with the styles of play contrasting in a way between Oregon and Liberty that could lead to a lot of fireworks.

Liberty is a team that is going to try and shoot the lights out if nothing else. They have made 39% of their 3-pointers this year, which ranks as the sixth-best in the nation. However, size is an issue for them, as no player on the Flames’ roster stands taller than 6-foot-8. Meanwhile, Oregon is built with size, led by 7-footer Nate Bittle, who has been playing the best basketball of his career this season.

In a 5-vs-12 game, potential upsets always loom, but the Ducks are considered favorites for a reason. They should be able to move on to the round of 32, where they would face either Akron or Arizona on Sunday.

As we approach Friday’s tipoff, here is where and when to watch Oregon and Liberty in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
