The 2026 Notre Dame Blue-Gold game is almost here.
The Irish’s spring game will give fans a chance to have a first look at a team that is expected to compete for a national championship just one year after a surprising College Football Playoff snub.

The Irish look to reload after losing some talent to the NFL — and quarterback CJ Carr may take a leap going into his second season. Fans will have a lot of expectations, and the game could give us a taste of how the team will look come fall.

The Notre Dame Blue-Gold game will stream exclusively on Peacock. Tony Simeone will be the play-by-play announcer and former Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book will handle the color commentary from the booth at Notre Dame Stadium, with Caroline Pineda reporting from the sidelines. Head coach Marcus Freeman and quarterback CJ Carr will be wearing microphones.
