What grade do you give the Lions’ signing of C Cade Mays?
The Lions’ first big signing of the 2026 free agency period was landing center Cade Mays on a three-year contract for a reported $25 million. Overall, the majority of NFL analysts praise the fit of Mays’ physical style of football in the Lions’ blocking scheme, noting that his playstyle and personality will fit like a glove in Detroit. There are some concerns over his lack of experience, but it’s hard to find many grievances with the price tag.
