“We are excited about Nya,” Lady Vols coach Kim Caldwell said in a school release on April 20. “She is going to be a perfect fit for us, because she can play at our speed and be a three-level scorer. She flies around on defense, pushes pace and can help us right away.”
Robertson started in 25 of the 27 games she played for the Mustangs in 2024-25. She scored a career-high 32 points against Louisville in February, going 3-for-6 from 3-point range and shot 13-for-13 on free throws. Robertson scored 20-plus points in 12 games.
The Forth Worth, Texas, native is the first commitment out of the transfer portal for Caldwell following the Lady Vols’ run to the Sweet 16.
Robertson is a great fit for Caldwell’s system. She also fills a need for Tennessee, which lost its top three 3-point shooters to graduation. Robertson has shot 33.2% on 3-pointers in her career, which started at George Washington. She averaged 2.4 made 3-pointers and 7.3 attempts per game over the last three seasons.

Robertson was the A-10 Sixth Woman of the Year as a freshman in 2022-23 and was an A-10 All-Conference third team selection as a sophomore. She averaged 14.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and two assists as a freshman and 16.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists as a sophomore.
