The Game will be set for a familiar time, on the classic channel to watch.
Michigan football will play Ohio State in the regular-season finale on Saturday, Nov. 28, at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, with kickoff at noon and broadcast on Fox, the program announced. The two teams have met at noon on the final weekend of the regular season in all but four seasons since 1990; they’ve done so every season since 2006 – when the matchup between No. 1 OSU and No. 2 U-M was played at 3:30 p.m. – making 2026’s noon start the 20th in a row.

Ohio State has the most recent edge, coming off a 27-9 dusting of U-M in Ann Arbor – the first time since 2007 that one of the two teams was kept out of the end zone.
Prior to that, however, the Wolverines had all the bragging rights this decade with four straight victories, including three (2021-23) for a spot in the Big Ten championship game.
Michigan has won the past two matchups in Columbus, fueled by a 215-yard performance by Donovan Edwards in 2022 and a stunning defensive performance in 2024, when the Wolverines prevailed, 13-10, as three-touchdown underdogs.
Michigan’s last loss in Columbus came in 2018, when the Buckeyes hung 62 points on Jim Harbaugh’s squad in their seventh consecutive victory in the rivalry. OSU ended up winning in 2019 as well, marking the longest win streak for either side since U-M won nine straight from 1901-09.

This will be the first go-round in the rivalry for new U-M coach Kyle Whittingham. That’s not to say there aren’t connections on the current U-M staff: Michigan employs Kerry Coombs, former OSU special teams coordinator, as well as Tony Alford, who coached the running backs in Columbus (2015-23) before heading to Ann Arbor prior to the 2024 season.
Michigan leads the all-time series 62-52-6.
