by

After a disappointing appearance in the SEC Tournament this past week, the ranking for the Alabama Crimson Tide in the latest USA TODAY Sports’ Women’s College Basketball Coaches Poll has been revealed.

Released on Tuesday afternoon, Alabama has dropped one spot in the latest update, falling from No. 20 down to No. 21. This drop coincides with the latest AP Poll on Monday, which saw the Crimson Tide fall there as well.

This past week, the Crimson Tide played only one game in the SEC Tournament in which, as the No. 6 seed, were upset by No. 11 seeded Florida in the second round, 63-61. Alabama’s record dropped to 23-8 overall as a result, and now await their next opponent for the upcoming NCAA Tournament to be reveled on Selection Sunday.
