Texas A&M (11-2) played another tune-up game before getting ready for SEC play, beating Abilene Christian 92-54 at Reed Arena.

Since the season started, the Aggies have improved across the board and now have some good momentum leading into the second half of the schedule.

They are getting solid production from their big men and are shooting much better as a team. A&M still needs to see improvement at the free-throw line where they are shooting under 70% and with the number of fouls they draw, they need to be in the 80% range.

Due to the nature of the scheduling, most teams either did not play or had Quad 3/4 games that would not move the needle much. The biggest drop was Ole Miss dropping seven spots to No. 23 after losing to Memphis. Texas A&M held their No. 12 ranking after extending their winning streak to six beating ACU.
