Alabama women’s basketball climbed a spot in this week’s USA TODAY Coaches poll.
The Crimson Tide (21-7, 7-7 SEC) rose back to No. 23 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll, earning 93 points. Alabama was ranked No. 24 in last week’s poll and went 1-1 during the voting period.

The Crimson Tide battled with South Carolina, but the Gamecocks flexed its muscles in a 76-57 win giving Alabama a three-game losing streak. The Crimson Tide snapped the skid with a 76-71 win over Florida on Sunday, thanks to a new career high 34-points from Jessica Timmons and 21 from Ta’Mia Scott.
Alabama will have two top-five games to end the regular season. The stretch starts with No. 5 Vanderbilt on the road on Thursday (6:30 p.m., SEC Network+) and a home game against No. 4 Texas on Sunday (11 a.m., SEC Network).
