In addition to Iowa, six other Big Ten squads are within the updated top 25 rankings. UCLA leads the group at No. 2, followed by No. 8 Michigan, No. 11 Ohio State, No. 16 Maryland, No. 18 Michigan State and No. 19 Minnesota.
Illinois (10 points) is the only conference representative in the receiving votes category.
In the wins over the Fighting Illini and Wolverines, the Hawkeyes got stellar all-around production from sophomore center Ava Heiden, who combined for 36 points on 13-for-22 shooting. Iowa supplemented Heiden’s impressive offensive play with Hannah Stuelke’s 26 points, Chit-Chat Wright’s 25 points, and Taylor Stremlow’s 19 points.
In Saturday’s win over Michigan, Heiden would also be responsible for all five of Iowa’s blocks, which is a career-high for the 6-foot-4 native of Sherwood, Ore.

However, Iowa’s luck ran dry against a dynamic UCLA squad in the Big Ten Tournament Championship Game in a 96-45 blowout loss.
As the Hawkeyes await Selection Sunday, Iowa is currently projected as an NCAA Tournament host. Here’s a look at the latest USA TODAY Sports Women’s Basketball Coaches Poll:
