NORMAN — OU women’s basketball is still on track to host NCAA Tournament first- and second-round games, even following Monday night’s blowout road loss to Vanderbilt.
In ESPN’s bracketology update Tuesday, the fourth-seeded Sooners would host No. 5 Baylor, No. 12 Green Bay and No. 13 Murray State at Lloyd Noble Center. OU has lost two consecutive games — to projected No. 1 seed Texas and No. 2 seed Vanderbilt.

The Sooners are 3-6 against Quad 1 opponents and rank No. 12 in the NCAA’s NET rankings.
OU’s schedule is a lot more manageable the rest of the way with it being the first six-game conference stretch without a top-10 opponent.
ESPN currently projects 11 teams from the SEC to make the tourney.
