Vanderbilt basketball moved up two spots to No. 12 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll after a win over Central Arkansas.

The win over the Bears on Dec. 13 came after more than a week without playing. Before that, the Commodores (10-0) had most recently defeated SMU in the ACC/SEC Challenge. Alabama and Illinois, which had previously been ahead of Vanderbilt, dropped.
