Where Wisconsin’s class of 2027 ranks nationally after big addition

by

Wisconsin football made yet another in-state splash in the class of 2027 on Thursday, landing a commitment from four-star offensive tackle Cole Reiter.

Reiter chose the Badgers over significant interest from Ohio State, Penn State, Kansas, and others. 247Sports impressively ranks him No. 155 in the class, No. 19 at his position and No. 3 in the state of Wisconsin. Along with blue-chip in-state tight end Korz Loken, Wisconsin now has a strong foundation of in-state talent at this early stage of the cycle.

More specifically, Reiter is Wisconsin’s fifth commitment in the class, all five of whom are from Wisconsin natives. That group includes the state’s No. 2, No. 3, No. 7, No. 8 and No. 9-ranked players. Notably, the state’s top 2027 recruit, running back Kingston Allen, and its No. 4-ranked player, offensive lineman Hunter Mallinger, are both also predicted to join the Badgers’ class.

Before the program continues its momentum in the 2027 cycle, here is where its class now ranks nationally.
