The Chicago White Sox added some right-handed pitching to their bullpen after a trade with the Boston Red Sox for veteran Jordan Hicks and prospect David Sandlin, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
In Hicks’ first year with the Red Sox, he had a 1-2 win loss record and finished with 2 saves in 21 games played. The 29-year-old had 6.95, 58 strikeouts and a 1.66 WHIP.

Sandlin, 24, was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 11th round of the 2022 MLB Draft before being traded to the Red Sox in 2024.
