After winning her first national championship with the UConn Huskies, Paige Bueckers entered the WNBA as the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft, joining the Dallas Wings.

Bueckers and the Wings went 1-1 in the preseason, with their lone win coming against Japan’s Toyota Antelopes. The rookie guard averaged 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.

Now, Bueckers will prepare for her first regular-season game as the Wings host Napheesa Collier and the Minnesota Lynx on Friday night. And Dallas could be returning a key player.

On Thursday, the Wings revealed that guard Tyasha Harris, after missing both preseason games with a knee injury, is probable against the Lynx. Harris suffered the injury in training camp prior to the preseason debut on May 2.
