Fresh off an 85-71 loss to the Oregon Ducks, the Wisconsin Badgers are completing their West Coast road trip with a game against the Washington Huskies on Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is slated for 3:00 p.m. CT on FS1.
The Badgers had yet another disappointing loss on the road earlier this week, struggling on both sides of the ball in a double-digit loss to Oregon. In the game, Wisconsin shot just 33 percent from the field, failing to get points in the paint, and had several major scoring droughts that proved to be too much to overcome.

Defensively, Wisconsin really struggled in the second half, allowing Oregon to score 55 points and convert at a really high rate. It was the second straight road loss for the Badgers, following their 86-69 defeat to the Ohio State Buckeyes last week.
Now, the Badgers take on the Washington Huskies, which is a Quad 1 opportunity against a team that has gone 14-14 this season and 6-11 in the Big Ten. Washington has won two of its last three games, beating Minnesota and Rutgers in the past two weeks, so they’ll be coming in with some momentum.
They’re led by star freshman Hannes Steinbach, who leads the team in points (18.0) and rebounds (11.1) per game. Steinbach shoots an efficient 56.5 percent from the field and 34.1 percent from deep, and will be the biggest problem for Wisconsin on Saturday.
Wisconsin needs this win badly for their tournament projections, as another Quad 1 win could give them a lift following the unexpected loss on Wednesday.
Heading into the game, the Badgers are 1.5-point favorites. Can they find a way to get the job done? Or will they disappoint again on the road?
