Wisconsin football adds highly-touted recruit to May 30 official visit weekend

The Wisconsin Badgers have added tight end Jack Sievers to their May 30 official visit weekend, the three-star recruit shared on X on Wednesday.

Sievers joins a loaded group of class of 2026 recruits in Wisconsin’s first major official visit weekend of the summer. As of April 10, that group is headlined by four-star wide receiver Jayden Petit, four-star offensive tackle Evan Goodwin and four-star athlete Jackson Ford.

247Sports currently ranks Sievers as the No. 439 overall player in the class of 2026, No. 22 tight end and No. 2 recruit from his home state of Washington. Wisconsin appears a top contender for his commitment, as it is one of four programs with an official visit scheduled, along with Boise State (June 6), Minnesota (June 13) and San Diego State (June 20). Other notable programs on the tight end’s offer sheet include Washington State, UNLV, Nevada and Cal.

247Sports and On3 project a wide-open race for Sievers’ commitment. The former has yet to log a prediction for his landing spot, while the latter assigns Washington State, Nevada, Cal, Wisconsin and UNLV a near-equal chance to land a commitment.
