Wisconsin men’s basketball faces Illinois tonight: Setting the scene, starting lineups, connections

by

CHAMPAIGN, Illinois – The Wisconsin men’s basketball team will arrive at State Farm Arena this evening with a couple of streaks hanging over its head.

The Badgers (8-2, 0-1 Big Ten) have dropped back-to-back games since opening the season with their third-best start in program history.

A victory tonight not only would get the team back on track, but it would end a seven-game road losing streak dating to last season and snap an eight-game skid against Illinois.

None of this year’s Badgers have been part of a win over Illinois.

Here is what you need to get ready for the game tonight.
