Wisconsin State Champion Aibhlinn King Selects Georgia Tech for 2027
NEW COMMIT: Georgia Tech has picked up a new verbal commitment for the 2027-28 season and beyond from Aibhlinn “Aibhy” King of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. King is a U.S. National qualifier specializing in butterfly and backstroke.
Regarding her commitment, she said:

King trains year-round with Schroeder Swim Team. She competed at Juniors West back in December and recently earned a best time in the 100 back at the WI SSTY 46th Annual A+ Meet last month. Last summer, she earned bronze in the 100m fly at Minneapolis Sectionals before going on to race at Junior Nationals.
Her best times include:
- 100 fly – 54.83
- 200 fly – 2:03.92
- 100 back – 56.69
Currently a junior at Whitefish Bay High School, King won the 100 fly and took second in the 200 IM at the Wisconsin Division 2 State Championships in 2025. She also helped her team win the 4×100 free relay and the 4×50 medley relay. She also won the 100 fly at the state meet during her sophomore season.
