WNBA Faces Backlash Over Caitlin Clark After Fever-Dream Game

The WNBA featured a preseason showdown between the Indiana Fever and the Atlanta Dream on Saturday. Fans were looking forward to the matchup between Caitlin Clark and Brittney Griner. However, the supporters didn’t get to see that since Griner sat the entire game after two minutes of action.

Still, Clark remained on the floor and was active for 23 minutes. The former Iowa star dropped 13 points on 45.5% shooting on the floor. The All-Star guard also secured six boards and dished out seven assists.

However, Fever fans weren’t happy with how the game was officiated, especially on fouls involving Clark. Many called out the league for the lack of calls she received despite being physically guarded by Atlanta.

Fans posted evidence on Clark not getting the calls while the Dream asserted physical dominance on the defensive end.
