It turns out Angel Reese isn’t just changing teams this WNBA offseason.
Roughly 24 hours ago, the Chicago Sky shocked the WNBA community by trading Reese to the Atlanta Dream for a pair of first-round draft picks. The former LSU star had a productive 2025 season, averaging 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds per game. However, she ruffled some feathers when she criticized the team’s supporting cast.

Instead of improving the roster around Reese, the front office in Chicago opted to trade her and replenish their draft capital.
“The Sky are trading Angel to the Dream in exchange for two first-round picks. This trade is designed to achieve roster balance and represents a great opportunity for all parties,” Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca said. “Angel has achieved many record-breaking milestones in her first two years in the WNBA and has been a competitive force for the Sky. We are thankful for her many important contributions to this league and this game, and we know she will continue to have a big impact on the court and beyond. We wish Angel all the best in her next chapter.”

When Reese steps foot in Atlanta, she’ll be sporting a new look. On Tuesday, she showed off her pixie cut along with the caption: “Betty Boo.”

It didn’t take long for WNBA fans to rave about Reese’s new haircut.
“Looking like you’re mama,” one person commented.
“This hair on you is perfect,” a second person wrote.
“The short hair is tea,” an Instagram user said.
“So cute and flirty but grown,” another person added.
Angel Reese teams up with Victoria’s Secret.
Back in October, fans were buzzing when they noticed Reese in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Well, she caused quite the stir this Tuesday with her latest work for the brand.

Reese is at the center of the “Invisible by Victoria’s Secret Strapless Collection.” Photos of her wearing a bronze swimsuit have left fans speechless.
