Sheldon was selected by the Wings with the No. 5 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft.
Sheldon earned a starting spot and appeared in all 40 games, averaging 5.4 points and 2.5 assists.
The 24-year-old was expected to continue playing during the offseason after signing with Australia Women’s National Basketball League’s Townsville Fire in July. A leg injury kept her in the United States and instead she joined the Ohio State women’s basketball staff as director of player development.
Sheldon averaged 15.6 points at Ohio State. Her 2,024 points ranks sixth in program history.
