For the second time in the past three days, a WNBA fan was at the center of a viral incident.

During this past Sunday’s game between the Washington Mystics and Phoenix Mercury, All-Star guard Kahleah Cooper lost her wig as she was trying to fight through a screen. She quickly picked her wig up off the floor and ran over to the tunnel.

As Cooper was adjusting herself, Mercury forward Alyssa Thomas and head coach Nate Tibbetts let the refs and security know that an opposing fan made fun of Cooper for losing her wig. After a lengthy discussion, the fan was asked to leave CareFirst Arena because of this incident.

Now let’s shift gears to this Tuesday night’s game between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream. During the final minute of the fourth quarter, a fan chucked what appeared to be a green sex toy onto the court.

Even though the score was tied 75-75, WNBA officials and security had no choice but to pause the game and take care of this situation.

“Oh my gosh. That’s inappropriate,” the commentator said. “Get them out of here, whoever that is.”

Footage of this wild sequence is going viral on social media.

Dream investor Renee Montgomery was noticeable annoyed by this situation.

After the court was cleaned up, the Valkyries took the lead on a clutch bucket from Cecilia Zandalasini. They would hold on for an impressive 77-75 win.

The WNBA has not yet commented on this matter. It’s imperative the league does something to put an end to these wild fan-related incidents.
