WNBA Legend Lisa Leslie Reacts to Caitlin Clark’s Off-Court Move

Caitlin Clark continues to keep herself busy this WNBA offseason. Earlier this March, the Indiana Fever star joined Team USA in the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament in Puerto Rico and helped the squad sweep the competition, going 5-0.

Clark was named MVP of the tournament after averaging 11.6 points and 6.4 assists. She led Team USA in total points (58) and assists (32), as well as in efficiency (73.0).

After the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers, Clark fulfilled several off-court commitments, from serving as a guest in Uber’s “Women Change the Game” event in Miami to becoming a photographer for the Indiana Pacers‘ game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

On Sunday, Clark returned to her broadcasting role for NBC’s Sunday basketball coverage. The Fever playmaker served as a “special contributor” for the New York Knicks‘ game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Clark debuted in her NBC role on Feb. 1, when the Knicks played the Los Angeles Lakers.

The WNBA, for its part, highlighted Clark’s work with NBC. On Instagram, the league posted three photos of the Fever guard interacting with her co-hosts.

“Look who’s back on the mic,” the WNBA wrote.

The post drew plenty of attention. WNBA legend Lisa Leslie couldn’t help but react as well, sharing how much she loved Clark’s move.

“[Love] it!” Leslie wrote, using a heart emoji.

Leslie certainly understands what it takes to be a broadcaster. The three-time WNBA MVP and two-time champion is an analyst for CBS Sports’ “The WNBA Tipoff Show.”
