Feb. 20—SNYDER — The No. 18-ranked Odessa College women’s basketball team had no trouble in putting away Western Texas College, winning 67-36 Thursday in a Western Junior College Athletic Conference game.
The Lady Wranglers improved to 17-7 overall, 8-3 in WJCAC while the Lady Westerners fell to 5-19, 0-11.
Odessa College was led in scoring by Aisha Amaral Dos Santos’ 16 points while Jaeydn Cook had 14 and Pa’Shawna Wheeler had 10.
Western Texas College was led by Kendall Carlock’s eight points while Jasmin Holt and Essania Landers each had seven.
The Lady Wranglers will next face Clarendon College at 5:45 p.m. Monday at the OC Sports Center.
