Nov. 8—The UTPB women’s basketball team began the 2024-25 season with a 63-53 win against South Dakota Mines Friday at Falcon Dome.
UTPB’s Taysha Rushton led the scoring for the Falcons with 19 points as she went 6-of-15 from the floor and 6-of-6 on free throws.
Khiara Flugence had 11 points and went 4-of-6 on shooting.
The Falcons will next face No. 23 Colorado Mesa University at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
