Gary Woodland won the Houston Open by five shots on Sunday, his first PGA Tour victory since undergoing brain surgery in 2023.
It also came weeks after the former U.S. Open champion revealed to Golf Channel that he has been battling post-traumatic stress disorder in the wake of the surgery.
“Anybody that’s struggling, I hope they see me and don’t give up,” Woodland told NBC after securing the win with a final-round, 3-under 67.
