The World Archery Executive Board has removed participation restrictions on Belarusian athletes and teams in events sanctioned by World Archery, following the latest guidance issued by the International Olympic Committee.
This applies solely to World Archery events, including the Archery World Cup and world championships. Participation remains subject to the standard entry, eligibility, and anti-doping requirements applicable to all athletes and teams.
Participation in the upcoming European Championships remains a decision of World Archery Europe.
This decision was approved during an online World Archery Executive Board meeting held on 13 May 2026 and follows the recommendation issued by the International Olympic Committee Executive Board on 7 May 2026 to lift the conditions of participation, including protective measures, previously published on 28 February 2022 and 28 March 2023.
The decision applies only to athletes and teams from Belarus.
