Auburn linebacker Xavier Atkins received a 91 overall rating from EA Sports for the upcoming edition of EA Sports College Football.

Seen as one of the best in the nation at the position, Atkins is coming into his junior season as the leader of this Auburn defense. EA Sports clearly agrees with the rest by giving Atkins a 91 overall for their upcoming game, EA Sports College Football 27.

According to EA Sports, Atkins holds a 90-or-above rating in speed, agility, injury, and awareness. His awareness is his greatest asset in the game at 94.

A stellar sophomore season saw Atkins start 12 games for the Tigers and record 84 tackles, 17.0 tackles for loss, and 9.0 sacks. He received honors First Team All-SEC (AP, Coaches, Phil Steele, PFSN) and Second Team All-America (AFCA, Phil Steele, Walter Camp).

Atkins transferred to Auburn from LSU in 2025 after seeing little playing time at LSU. The Houston, Texas native was recruited out of Summer Creek High School as a four-star prospect, according to Rivals. In his senior season, he posted 102 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, two interceptions, and three forced fumbles.

EA Sports College Football 27 is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on July 9.
