Judge has been sidelined since May 31 and was placed on the injured list on June 4. Initially, he was diagnosed with a bone bruise near his right rib cage after feeling discomfort in his right shoulder for several weeks.
Judge believes he sustained the injury on April 26 while diving for a ball against the Texas Rangers. He likely made his condition worse when hitting the right-field wall on a catch versus the Baltimore Orioles on May 3.
