Your College Basketball Sunday Viewing Guide: February 22, 2026

by

Step #1 for the day: Watch the Olympic men’s hockey gold medal game between the United States and Canada at 7am Central time on NBC or streaming on Peacock.

Step #2: Let your heart rate reset.

Step #3: Take in the 27 nationally televised college basketball games on deck today!

Eight of the games are men’s games, with a pair of Big Ten games with ranked teams hosting carrying the day over on that side of the aisle. Everything else is women’s basketball, and brother, the schedulemakers knew what they were doing, that’s for sure.

Can I interest you in FIVE ranked vs ranked games today? 10 of the AP top 25 right there, and that’s before we get to the other NINE women’s basketball games with a ranked team involved one way or another. #6 Michigan visiting #13 Iowa is probably the game of the day if you go by adding up the rankings numbers and lowest number wins. It’s not that far off from #16 Kentucky at #5 Vanderbilt or #17 Ole Miss at #3 South Carolina OR #16 Kentucky at #5 Vanderbilt, though. There’s also #21 Tennessee on the road against #11 Oklahoma and #18 Michigan State heading west for a contest against #23 Minnesota to round out the notable festivities.

Might want to keep an eye on #25 Alabama and #9 Duke today as well, as they’re both on the road against Florida and Clemson respectively. “Ranked Team On The Road” has a bit of danger by default to it, so we’ll see if those squads can add to the viewing fun for the day.

There is a bunch of games that are streaming only, not least of which is YOUR Marquette Golden Eagles visiting Villanova on Peacock this afternoon. If you catch on to something exciting, shout it out in the comments so everyone can check it out!
