No. 18 Kentucky (17-7, 6-5 SEC) defeated the Vols, 75-64, at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. Rankings reflect the USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll.
Tennessee senior guard Zakai Zeigler led all players in assists with six. He moved into sixth place all time for SEC career assists (651). Zeigler also led all players in scoring with 17 points.
Sean Tuohy leads the SEC in assists all time with 830, while former Vol guard Johnny Darden is third (715).
