Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 basketball signing class.
Four-star point guard Antonio Pemberton named the Vols in his top eight schools, along with Michigan State, Kansas, UCLA, Boston College, Creighton, Ohio State and Marquette, according to Joe Tipton of On3.

The 6-foot-1, 165-pound prospect is from Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and plays for The Master’s Academy International in Stow, Massachusetts. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 8 point guard in the class and No. 1 player from Massachusetts.
Tennessee offered Pemberton a scholarship on May 25 and he has not visited the Vols.
He was offered his scholarship by Boston College on July 15, 2025. Current Tennessee assistant coach Earl Grant was the Eagles’ head coach at the time.
Albany was the first school to offer Pemberton a scholarship on Aug. 9, 2023. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Bryant, Rutgers, Oklahoma State, Maryland, Penn State, Georgetown, Utah, Florida State, Iowa, Seton Hall, Providence, Notre Dame, Xavier, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Cincinnati, Alabama, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Washington and Michigan.

Tennessee does not have a commitment in its 2027 basketball recruiting class. The Vols have four commitments in their 2026 basketball recruiting class: small forward Ralph Scott, power forward Manny Green, point guard Marquis Clark and power forward Chris Washington Jr.
