Reports indicate that Alysha Clark, who is 38 years old, is signing a one-year contract with the Wings, according to Alexa Philippou of ESPN. Clark will be joining a team consisting of Fudd and Paige Beuckers, who are the 2025 and 2026 No. 1 overall picks.
“Breaking: 3x-WNBA champion Alysha Clark has agreed to a one-year deal to join the Dallas Wings, her agent, Jessica Holtz of CAA, told ESPN,” reported Philippou. “Clark brings experience and championship pedigree to a surging Wings franchise that had a productive free agency and now boasts the last two No. 1 overall picks.”
The 2026 campaign will be Clark’s 11th in the WNBA. She’s proven to be a reliable role player, having won the Sixth Woman of the Year Award in 2023. She played for the Seattle Storm for 27 games last season before being traded to the Washington Mystics, where she played an additional 15 games. She ended the year averaging 3.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 37.1% from the floor and 27.1% from beyond the three-point line.
Alysha Clark joins Alanna Smith, Jessica Shepard, and Lindsay Allen as the Wings’ notable free agency acquisitions. Dallas is loaded with exciting young talent paired with proven star-caliber experience. After two straight seasons of being at the bottom of the WNBA rankings, this franchise could be turning things around in a big way in 2026.
