Arizona, Michigan, Connecticut and Illinois are the last teams standing as March Madness turns to April for the semi-finals and final before the 2026 national champion is crowned.

Connecticut are the most decorated of the remaining teams and will enter the Final Four riding the high of their stunning last-second defeat of tournament favourite Duke in the Elite Eight. The Huskies have won the championship six times, most recently going back-to-back in 2023 and 2024.

The other three teams have combined for two NCAA championships among them: Arizona in 1997 and Michigan in 1989, with Illinois still looking for their maiden trophy.

Who will lift the 2026 trophy in Indianapolis? Here’s everything you need to know to watch.
